Boca Juniors' Ezequiel Munoz Is Fiorentina's - Pantaleo Corvino
The Fiorentina director confirms that only minor details need to be agreed upon with the player...
Fiorentina director Pantaleo Corvino has revealed that Boca Juniors' defender Ezequiel Muñóz is set to become a Viola player in the January transfer period.
According to Corvino, contract negotiations with both the player and club are almost finalised, with only minor details to be agreed upon.
The director is looking forward to bringing in a player that he has been closely monitoring for quite some time. The 19-year-old stopper will be able to provide extra cover in defence for coach Cesare Prandelli's side.
Should Juan Manuel Vargas depart for Real Madrid - possibly in January as well - then Munoz may be able to slot straight into the team.
The Gigliati's South American adventure has not concluded, with several other players also being tracked by the Italian side.
