We Should Have Drawn Against Roma - Bologna Coach Colomba
Bologna coach Franco Colomba talked about his team's 2-1 defeat to Roma.
Bologna coach Franco Colomba was disappointed that his side ended up losing to Roma despite taking the lead at the half hour mark at the Stadio Olimpico.
"We could have controlled the result better," he said after the match to Sky. "We had taken the lead after three or four good moves, but we conceded the equaliser after a handball by Simone Perrotta which wasn't seen.
"In the second half we didn't have the right attitude: we should have defended the draw, instead we left room for Roma's counterattacks. That was a mistake. It can happen that you lose the ball and the opponents start a counterattack: we were punished, we deserved the equaliser until that point.
"We crumbled both physically and mentally. Also, Roma felt the fatigue of playing three consecutive matches in a week, but we felt it more because we had to come back."
Currently Bologna are in 17th place with nine points.
