Sampdoria talisman Antonio Cassano was upset following the 0-0 draw with Bari at the Marassi, seemingly angered by the whistles from the supporters.

The Euro 2008 participant has been the star player for Sampdoria over the last three seasons, helping them to some incredible results including a place in the Coppa Italia final last season and an incredible start to the 2009-10 campaign.

However, he suggested that his will to stay at the club may wane if the fans do not appreciate his efforts.

"Here I have done well," the Italian was quoted as saying by the Citta di Genova website after the stalemate with Bari.

"In the past three or four matches the supporters have jeered me at times. Sampdoria are second in the standings and certainly should not be chasing Inter.

"I did it in Rome and I also did it in Madrid. If this keeps happening I will pack my suitcases and leave from here."

The Blucerchiati are level on 21 points with Juventus, seven behind league-leaders Inter. They travel to Sardinia next weekend to face Cagliari.
