I Want To End My Career At Roma - David Pizarro
Roma midfielder David Pizarro talked about his contract extension with the club and his desire to end his career in the Capital.
Yesterday Chilean midfielder David Pizarro signed a contract extension with Roma until 2013. The player acknowledged it was an important moment for him, and he hopes to end his career in the Italian capital.
"We have come to an important conclusion for me and Roma," he said to Roma Channel, "I'm very happy, as I said we only had to clear up a few details. When I arrived I remember saying I wouldn't have to move anymore, and I hope it will go that way, because I want to end my career as a Giallorosso."
On the team's difficult moment, which has seen them lose their last three Serie A matches, Pizarro said, "We always want to do well, but it's not always possible. We can't talk about objectives, we only have to work and in the end we will see where we are.
"Certainly you can't explain to the fans that you played well but lost. It's the result that counts and when you play badly but win, automatically the match becomes a great game," he concluded.
