Juventus Were Far Too Good For Us - Sampdoria's Giampaolo Pazzini
The Blucerchiati forward says that the Bianconeri played much better football...
Sampdoria forward Giampaolo Pazzini managed to add to his goalscoring tally, but was unable to secure a point for his side, as a rampant Juventus outfit put five goals past the Blucerchiati goalkeeper Luca Castellazzi.
According to Pazzini, the Bianconeri were able to shut down the spaces and play at a high-intensity throughout. The forward says that he is looking forward to returning to the pitch on Sunday, to prove that it was a one-off.
"Juventus demonstrated tonight, that they are a strong club," Pazzini told Sampdorianews.net.
"They can challenge the likes of Inter and Milan for the Scudetto.
"[Juventus coach Ciro] Ferrara's team played with a very fast rhythm, and their success this evening was never in question. We were not able to express ourselves in our normal way, but I think it wasn't out fault totally, as our opponents were just too good.
"My goal is a small satisfaction in a night that went horribly wrong, and whereby everything our opponents did went right.
"Luckily, we play against Bari on Sunday, looking to restart. They are in good form though, and have troubled lots of teams so far this season.
"But we are going to be angry, and want to regain our winning ways that were rudely interrupted in Turin," Pazzini concluded.
