Roma Played With Tension - Udinese Coach Pasquale Marino
The Zebrette boss was happy with the win, but had an advantage on the field...
Udinese boss Pasquale Marino is glad that his team were able to walk away with the three points against Roma.
Two goals from Antonio Floro Flores secured maximum points for the home side, and brought a third consecutive loss for the Giallorossi in the domestic competition.
"Roma were coming off two consecutive losses," Marino told Datasport post-match. "There was a lot of tension, but we did well.
"The tension was also evident on the pitch, and we had some difficulty overcoming it.
"In our past matches, we have had many dead-ball situations, and have not been able to take advantage of it.
"Tonight, we did better, and this makes me understand that what the players are doing in training, is being done on the park during a game.
Marino went on discuss the performance of Udinese's hero on the night, Floro Flores.
"He did well, and I am happy," he affirmed. "He now needs to develop some continuity, as he has some important technical qualities."
Udinese will now face Chievo on Sunday, whilst Roma take on Bologna, hoping to end their string of losses.
