Lazio Coach Davide Ballardini Feels Responsible For Loss Against Cagliari
The Biancocelesti boss blames himself for the side's loss midweek...
Lazio coach Davide Ballardini feels that he is partly responsible for his side's 1-0 loss at home to Cagliari.
A 50th minute Alessandro Matri goal was the difference between the two sides, and meant that the Sardinian club walked away with maximum points.
"The result doesn't do us justice," Ballardini told Corriere Dello Sport post-match "But we must re-start with the will that the side demonstrates to have inside it.
"It is right that when things don't go your way, you protest, even on my front.
"I feel responsible for some of this.
He concluded, "How do we get out of this moment? I repeat, with the will that we go onto the park before every match."
Lazio will now have to refocus as the side meet Siena on Sunday.
