Luciano Spalletti Linked With Real Madrid Role - Report

Los Blancos are already reconsidering Manuel Pellegrini's position at the helm of the club, and they are set to look to Italy if they decide to part company with him...

Former Roma coach Luciano Spalletti has been tipped to join Real Madrid should Manuel Pellegrini be ousted from his post at the Bernabeu.

Forzaroma.info reports Spalletti has been added to the list of candidates who will be sought if Florentino Perez decides to wield his axe on the Chilean coach. The president is in no mood to endure a winter of discontent, and he is reportedly ready to make changes.

Real's 4-0 loss in the Copa del Rey against third tier side Alcorcon could spark changes. Reports suggest a change of coach could be on the horizon.

It is said Pellegrini is drinking in the last chance saloon. The forthcoming games against Getafe and Milan could decide his fate.

Voices in Italy claim Roberto Mancini has also been linked with the Spanish club.
