Atalanta's Diego De Ascentis To Return In Two Weeks From Injury
The Nerazzurri midfielder was injured against Parma last weekend, but coudl return in a fortnight...
Atalanta fans can breathe a sigh of relief with Diego De Ascentis being cleared of any major damage to his right leg.
Instead, the 33-year-old sustained a thigh strain, which will see him miss for a fortnight.
De Ascentis came off in the 36th minute, during the Nerazzurri's clash with Parma.
The team went on to win the match 3-1, and will take on Livorno on Wednesday night, when the Serie A plays a midweek fixture.
De Ascentis only managed to play two games before being struck down, after he was tempted out of retirement by current coach Antonio Conte.
