Fiorentina coach Cesare Prandelli has called for his side to make sacrifices when they clash with Genoa on Wednesday night.

The Viola are eager to react following the home loss to Napoli on Sunday. Prandelli knows of the difficulties involved as the Grifoni are also in desperate need of a win, having lost their last three games.

"We have a difficult game on a hard pitch and we have a problem as we are in emergency," Prandelli told the press.

"We have values and we need to put our qualities on the pitch, but we have to be more alert and organised during certain moments of the game.

"I want players to make sacrifices. We have done so in the big games, so I want players who are ready to do just that."

Prandelli has warned abut the dangers his side face at Marassi, and he has asked for a good performance.

"Genoa are well equipped and competitive. They also play good football. The crowd will be behind them, but we start the game on equal terms. Our objective is to grind out a performance," concluded the coach.
