Pick Your Roma Team

It's time for Roma to bounce back from their loss to Livorno as they travel to Friuli for a tough tie against Udinese. Goal.com invites you to pick your starting XI...

Claudio Ranieri - Juventus (Grazia Neri)
Calling all armchair coaches! It's time to pick your Roma team.

The Lupi were embarrassed at home by Livorno on Sunday and now they face another tricky test away to Udinese on Wednesday night.

The big news is about Francesco Totti's arthroscopy surgery that took place on Monday. He is likely to miss out for at least three weeks. Marco Motta and Julio Sergio are also in doubt.

Alessio Cerci and Max Tonetto are struggling. But there are no suspensions or further injury concerns for Claudio Ranieri. The coach is likely to stick with the same team that started against the Amaranto.

Goalkeepers: Artur, Bogdan Lobont, Doni.

Defenders: Juan, John Arne Riise, Vitorino Antunes, Nicolas Burdisso, Marco Andreolli, Marco Cassetti.

Midfielders: Stefano Guberti, David Pizarro, Daniele De Rossi, Ricardo Faty, Simone Perrotta, Taddei.

Strikers: Jeremy Menez, Mirko Vucinic, Stefano Okaka, Julio Baptista.

We ask you to leave your choices in the comments feature below using semi-colons to separate positions, and working from right to left. For example, here's the side that could line up in a 4-4-2 system:

Doni; Cassetti, Mexes, Burdisso, Riise; Taddei, De Rossi, Pizarro, Perrotta; Vucinic, Menez

Magica Roma!
