"Our faith in Ballardini is intact," Lotito announced to Il Corriere dello Sport
"Certainly yesterday's defeat was a wake-up call to evaluate the squad, from the coach to the players. The loss to Bari should not go unnoticed, but nor should there be an exaggerated alarm because we are only at the start of the season.
"We are convinced that Lazio has great potential - it's time to show that by starting to get some positive results. I think it's improper to speak of a crisis. We have definitely had a lack of results that truly reflect the performance of Lazio.
"This wasn't the case yesterday, because we deserved to lose with a truly awful performance. But we should look at the positive things we have done so far. We deserved to win some games because of our performance, most of all against Juventus."
The Biancocelesti are in action again on Wednesday when they host Cagliari at 20:45 CET.
