Lazio Coach Davide Ballardini Takes Blame For Awful Display Against Bari
The Biancocelesti tactician had no alibis after watching his side falter to their third league defeat of the season.

As Lazio limped off the field after being taught an exemplary lesson on organisation and discipline from a rampant Bari outfit, coach Davide Ballardini refused to cover up what was arguably his side’s worst display of the season so far.
“For sure we didn’t have a good day at the office,” declared the coach in the post-match interview to SkySport.
“We found ourselves against an extremely organised adversary, and my team simply failed to show up. I am worried not so much by the result as by the manner in which we succumbed to defeat.”
After being asked whether his side are paying the price for the exclusions of players such as Goran Pandev and Cristian Ledesma, the former Palermo tactician tried to keep the focus on his underperforming personnel.
“This afternoon we were awful as a collective, therefore the entire squad including myself are all at fault for this embarrassing display,” he concluded.
