Cicinho Fed Up With Exclusions From Roma Squad - Report

The Giallorosi's Brazilian right-back is eyeing a move away from the club after being left out of the squad for today's match against Livorno.

Cicinho's situation at Roma is getting more and more complicated after the 29-year-old was not included in coach Claudio Ranieri's list of players for the away match in Livorno.

"I saw a lack of conviction in him during the week, he is not as dynamic as he seemed from the outside before I joined this club," explained Ranieri to Il Corriere dello Sport.

The player is unhappy about this, as he would like to get playing time despite not being 100% fit in order to get back into shape. Following his knee operation, he had gradually worked his way back into the team, and had been called up again for the match against CSKA Sofia on October 1.

Since then, he featured in a friendly and was called up a number of times, but always ended up on the stands. Now Cicinho is reportedly eager to know if Roma still consider him a valuable player and it is believed that during the coming week, he will meet with the management to clear things up.

The club had allegedly already tried to sell him last summer after Barcelona showed mild interest, but a move never materialised. With the January transfer window coming up soon, the Brazilian could soon find a club where he will get more playing time.
