Palermo Star Fabrizio Miccoli Endorses Coach Walter Zenga’s ‘No Limits’ Motto
The diminutive hitman agrees with Zenga and says the Rosanero can aim high this season.
Serie A side Palermo welcome Udinese to the Stadio Barbera this afternoon hoping to extend their winning streak to three games.
The Sicilians have defeated Juventus and Livorno in their last two outings and coach Walter Zenga insisted yesterday that his players have set themselves no limits and they can reach any target through hard work.
And the words of the former goalkeeper have been met with enthusiasm by striker Fabrizio Miccoli.
“I liked that expression,” he admitted to the La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“The boss has understood what our characteristics are after months of work. I agree with him, provided we continue playing like we did against Juve. I too am convinced we are strong.”
The Rosanero captain will shake hands with his Udinese counterpart Antonio Di Natale prior to today's match, and he joked: “Toto is a great friend of mine and a great player, but I’d rather he won the ‘goal challenge’ between us and left me with the three points.”
