Udinese Want To Play In Europe Again - Pasquale Marino
The Zebrette coach is beginning to feel the pressure after a disappointing start to the season...
Udinese coach Pasquale Marino has called on his side to start picking up results in order that they can return to European competition.
The Zebrette gave a good account of themselves in last year's UEFA Cup, reaching the quarter finals before being knocked out by eventual finalists Werder Bremen.
"We just have to think about going out onto the pitch, not talking," Marino is quoted as saying by Datasport.
"I want my guys to have the hunger to reach the top because they have the potential to succeed.
"Our aim has to be to play in Europe again. We are an ambitious group."
It has been rumoured that Udinese president Giampaolo Pozzo is beginning to lose patience with Marino after the defeat to Atalanta, and a poor result against Palermo on Sunday could see him lose his job.
While the Bianconeri are currently only two points off the Europa League places, they must play Roma, Fiorentina and Juventus in the coming weeks.
