Napoli Defender Juan Camilo Zuniga's Agent Opens Door To Juventus Move
The player's representative believes the lure of Champions League football may convince him to switch clubs...
Napoli defender Juan Camilo Zuniga's possible move to Juventus has started to take off the ground with his agent saying that the player welcomes the idea.
Sportmediaset.it claims Juventus director Alessio Secco is eager to rub shoulders with Napoli chiefs over a possible deal that will see Zuniga swap places with Paolo De Ceglie or Cristian Molinaro, who are both admired at the San Paolo.
While the move is still in its embryonic stages, the Colombian defender's agent Riccardo Calleri has opened the door to the Old Lady.
"Obviously, the interest from a club like Juventus pleases us," the agent told Sportmediaset.it.
"At the moment, he is focussed on Napoli and he wants to show his qualities, but if both clubs find a consensus, well, the possibility of Champions League football would appeal to any player."
With Jonathan Zebina back on the injury list and Zedenek Grygera blowing hot and cold, the emphasis at Vinovo is to find a right-back and the January transfer window will offer the perfect chance to find one.
