It's Not The End Of The World If Milan Lose To Real Madrid - Filippo Inzaghi
'Super Pippo' is looking forward to playing in the Santiago Bernabeu and wants to mark the occasion by scoring a special goal...
After a 1-0 home defeat to FC Zurich in their last Champions League outing, Milan striker Filippo Inzaghi knows that Wednesday night would be the perfect time to overtake Gerd Mueller's European goalscoring record.
The Rossoneri have two fixtures against Real Madrid coming up, and Inzaghi admitted that he will be facing the unknown if he takes to the pitch in the Santiago Bernabeu.
"It would be the best to take Mueller's record in the Bernabeu," Inzaghi is quoted as saying by Goal.com Italia.
"I have never played in an official game in that stadium and I have never come up against Raul."
Inzaghi concluded by telling fans not to panic should the Rossoneri go back to Italy with nothing to show for their midweek endeavours.
"Many [teams] lose in that stadium, but for us it isn't a last resort as they then come to Milan," he noted.
