Juventus Want Stade Rennais Defender Rod Fanni - Agent

The French player's agent confirmed what has been speculated all over the press in the past few days...

Didier Six, agent of Stade Rennais right-back Rod Fanni, has confirmed that Juventus are interested in his client.

The player's agent denied that he has made any contact with the Bianconeri, but admitted that it will be difficult for the Italian club to lure Fanni away from Rennes.

"I know about Juventus' interest, and although the Italian media have spoken about it in these past days, considering the presence of [sporting director] Alessio Secco during the match between France and Austria, it's nothing new," the player's agent explained to Tuttomercatoweb.com.

"However, I have not had any direct contact with the Bianconeri.

"The player is also liked by English and Spanish clubs. If he has to leave, I don't think that it will happen in the next transfer window. Rennes are one of the most financially solid teams in the French league, so negotiating with them is not easy."

The 27-year-old player has been at Rennes since 2007. He has become a key member of the Bretons' first team.
