Fiorentina's Alberto Gilardino Is Better Than Juventus' Amauri - Salvatore Schillaci
The former Italy and Juventus striker believes Gilardino is the better hitman than Amauri. He is looking forward to the Bianconeri and the Giallorossi's fixture at the weekend...
Former Juventus striker Salvatore Schillaci believes Alberto Gilardino will make the difference when Fiorentina clash with the Old Lady this weekend.
Gilardino has been in hot form of late. The hitman has scored four in two games for Italy and has three to his name for the Viola this season.
It's a major contrast with Amauri, who has not scored for Juventus since February.
"What can I say about Gilardino? He is the most in-form Italian striker at the moment. He reminds me of [Filippo] Inzaghi," Schillaci told Firenzeviola.it.
"He knows how to disrupt defenders and I think he is the most accurate striker at Fiorentina.
"Amauri? He is a good player physically, but he is not going through a good moment. However, he is always working for the team, but I think Gilardino will be fundamental for his side."
