Lazio president Claudio Lotito has affirmed that he will not be discussing anything to do with possible transfers until the market opens in January.

Persistent rumours have been floating around involving some of the Roman Eagles' players, but the president wants to respect the laws, and will talk about it when the window opens.

"We want to respect the laws," Lotito said to TMW. "The market closed August 31 and will re-open in January.

"When it re-opens, we will again start discussing the market. We have scouts, who are active on the market 365 days a year, 24 hours a day.

"When we are allowed to approach players in a formal sense - and have discussions with the relevant parties - we will do so," the president summed up.

Lazio play Sampdoria on Sunday, at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.
