Inter's Marco Materazzi Fears Juventus In Title Race

The Nerazzurri go into this weekend with a two point lead over the Bianconeri but the 'Matrix' thinks they will still be challenging come the end of the campaign...

Marco Materazzi helps Inter launch their new kit
Inter defender Marco Materazzi has admitted that it will not be easy to face Genoa on Saturday night, as they have proven that they are a very difficult team to beat.

However, he insisted that the Nerazzurri's main Scudetto contenders are Juventus, who, he believes, will be fighting for the league title right up until the end of the season.

"It's difficult to play against Genoa because they play very well, but I hope to obtain the same result as last year against them, it wouldn't be bad," declared the veteran centre-back to Sky Sports.

"With regards to Inter, I think that changing a lot of players makes it  difficult to find the right amalgamation. Even the other teams are not finding it easy in results and continuity.

"Juventus were scary even last year, because I think that they are a strong team who never gives up. They can give us a hard time and they have great quality, therefore we will be fighting for the Scudetto against them until the end."

Inter currently have a two-point lead over Juve in the standings with the Bianconeri facing Fiorentina this weekend.
