Napoli Coach Mazzarri Considering A Move For Milan’s Huntelaar – Report

The new Azzurri boss wants to reinforce his attacking ranks in the winter transfer period.

Jan Klaas Huntelaar makes his debut for Milan during the Trofeo TIM
Klaas-Jan Huntelaar has had a torrid start to life in Milan, since joining the club from Real Madrid in the summer. He has failed to find the back of the net to this point in all competitions.

To be fair to him though, the Rossoneri are desperately struggling up front, as they have scored just four times in seven Serie A fixtures, making it all the more difficult for the new boy to impose himself.

There have been reports emerging recently suggesting that the Milanese outfit are keen to offload their flop, and one club to have reportedly shown interest in the Dutchman is Napoli.

According to the Milan Channel, the new coach of the Partenopei, Walter Mazzarri, is extremely interested in the 26-year-old, and is keen to acquire his services as early as January, which is exactly what the Rossoneri are after.

Having scored nine times this far, the Azzurri have certainly not been struggling in attack themselves, despite their 15th position in the league standings, however Huntelaar could be the answer to a concern that Mazzarri may have up forward.
