David Trezeguet: Juventus Can Win The Scudetto And Champions League
The prolific striker feels his side can return to winning major trophies this year...
Juventus striker David Trezeguet is urging his team-mates to capitalise on an important moment, and win the Scudetto and Champions League.
Trezeguet, who earlier this year claimed that he would be leaving the club at the end of the term, seems to have adopted a new-found taste for success. The hitman has underlined big objectives as he puffs his chest out.
"It's an important moment for us and I think we can show we have the same will as Inter and Milan - to win the Champions League and Scudetto," Trezeguet told the Sportel convention in Monte Carlo.
"Now we have the possibility to show everyone our qualities."
The striker also had words regarding Gianluigi Buffon's injury. The goalkeeper may have to undergo surgery to fix a knee problem.
"Buffon? We are not worried. If he is out, then another goalkeeper will take his place. The same thing happened with me when I was injured," concluded the Frenchman.
