Udinese's Antonio Floro Flores Admits He Is Still Improving

The forward has not hit his straps yet this season...

Udinese striker Antonio Floro Flores may have scored in his side's 4-1 victory over Croatian outfit Rijeka in a friendly match, but the Italian still wants to improve, and be the best he can be.

The 26-year-old has only scored one goal in the league this season, compared to team-mate Antonio Di Natale who has nine, but his main focus is that the squad plays well.

"I expect a lot out of myself because the fans love me," Floro Flores remarked on the club's official website, Udinese.it. "I want to repay them with the results.

"I have to continue to play at those levels [that he did against Catania] and for the team.

"This way, a few more goals will arrive, but the important thing is that everyone continues to do as well as we are now. We are a united group and we need to continue on this road.

"Surely, with the right attitude from the whole team, I will also be able to find the back of the net."

Floro Flores has no intentions of leaving the Zebrette anytime soon, as he loves the city and the people.

He added, "I want to give Udinese my all, as I find the place and the people to be very nice. My wife and I want to transfer ourselves to live in Friuli.

"I will always be grateful because the club has shown enough faith in my potential, and I want to do my best."

Udinese take on Atalanta in the coming round of Serie A fixtures this weekend.
