Report: Milan To Fine Ronaldinho Over Late-Night Partying
Galliani is reportedly infuriated after the Brazilian spent a wild night on the town less than 48 hours prior to the Rossoneri’s defeat to Zurich.
Ronaldinho’s penchant for Milan’s nightlife has frequently been put under the microscope since his move to the Italian giants in the summer of 2008.
But after his recent dismal displays and with Milan struggling both in Serie A and in Europe, the Corriere dello Sport newspaper claims that vice president Adriano Galliani has decided to take action.
It is suggested that ‘Dinho’ was spotted partying hard at the Shocking Club until 2:30 a.m on Monday morning, less than 48 hours before Milan’s dire home reverse at the hands of Swiss outfit FC Zurich in the Champions League.
The 29-year-old showed up on time at Milanello the following afternoon and even made a substitute appearance against Zurich, but Galliani seems keen to show an iron fist this time around.
Galliani is allegedly prepared to contact the Lega Calcio Refereeing Committee to get the player fined or even be sanctioned with a salary cut.
Ronaldinho has been named in the Diavoli squad for today’s game at Atalanta.
