Juventus Striker Amauri Unfazed By Goal Drought

The forward cannot wait to quench his thirst to find the net, and he believes he will have the chance soon...

Amauri in action for Juventus
Juventus striker Amauri is not losing any sleep over his goal scoring drought, which is now beyond its seventh month.

Amauri has reportedly been working extra hard in training, but this effort has not borne any fruit on the pitch.

Despite his lack of goals - his last was in February - the hitman is confident of scoring soon.

"It's time to unblock myself, I want to reconquer Juventus," Amauri told Tuttosport.

"I am tranquil. I can feel the faith from my coach and team-mates. I don't think I am in crisis because of my lack of goals."

The Brazilian has come under fire for his poor recent record, but he is unfazed, believing an upturn is on the horizon.

"I don't worry about the criticism. I know I am working hard. All that is missing is a goal, but I am confident," concluded the hitman.
