Real Madrid star Kaka has heaped high praise on Sampdoria, claiming that he is not surprised by the super start the club have made in Serie A.

Luigi Del Neri's men shot to the pinnacle of Calcio following their win against Inter last week, and the former Milan ace is impressed.

"Sampdoria are not a surprise as they have always done well over the years," Kaka told Sky Sport Italia.

"When the club is run well, then things come out good.

"They reached the final of the Coppa Italia this year and now they are the league leaders.

"This means the club's owners have invested well."

Samp clash with Parma at the Luigi Ferraris on Sunday afternoon.
