"I hope I get the chance to play in the new stadium," captain Francesco Totti told reporters during the official unveiling at Trigoria.
"They have to build it quickly!"
'Er Pupone' then gave some positive news about his contract renewal, which has been in the pipeline for some time.
"I will sign my new contract soon and I hope the new stadium comes within the next five years. It's also right to dedicate it to Franco Sensi," he said.
Daniele De Rossi and Claudio Ranieri are also keen on seeing the new arena being built.
"You can feel the fans play alongside you, and I can imagine how it will feel having them so close to the pitch," added the midfielder.
Ranieri said, "The stadium is very nice. It would be splendid to be able to coach there. It will be Roma's and the Romanisti's home."
