Juventus Defender Fabio Grosso: We Want To Beat Bayern Munich
The flying full-back is up for the German challenge as Juve travel to Munich tomorrow night...
Juventus defender Fabio Grosso has outlined plans to come away from the game against Bayern Munich with maximum points as Champions League action resumes for the Old Lady.
The stopper is well aware that the match in the Allianz Arena will represent a leadership challenge in the group, and he stated that his burning ambition is to grab a win.
"This game against Bayern Munich is important and determining," Grosso told Tuttosport.
"We are going there to win and only to win. Bayern are a strong team, but we have been preparing for victory."
Grosso has underlined the importance of a reaction, following a slip-up in match day one against Bordeaux.
"We need points because we drew the first game, and so this is our only thought," added the Italy international.
Standards have been raised at Vinovo this season, following a summer of investment. And Grosso has weighed up the season thus far, suggesting there will be no winter of discontent.
"I am satisfied with the way things have been going. Everything is positive here, the club, the staff, the team," he continued.
"We are like a big family here, and it's hard to find any defects so far."
