Fiorentina Propose Contract Renewal For Stevan Jovetic - Report
The Viola are looking to ward off any potential suitors for their Montenegrin starlet...
As some of Europe's elite clubs begin to circle around Fiorentina starlet Stevan Jovetic, voices around the team suggest that the Viola are preparing an improved contract for the Montenegrin.
According to a report in Tuttosport, the Gigliati hierarchy have drawn up a new deal for the former Partizan Belgrade man in order to stave off interest from Europe's elite, as Jovetic's current deal runs until 2013.
A one-year extension is being proposed, which reportedly contains a buyout clause of over €25 million, and the movers and shakers at Fiorentina are hoping that the 19-year-old will put pen to paper as soon as possible.
The likes of Juventus and Manchester United had previously been credited with an interest in Jovetic, but they may have to look elsewhere if the youngster inks a new deal with the Viola.
