Juventus Gifted Far Too Much Space Against Bologna – Ciro Ferrara
The Bianconeri coach took the blame after his side failed to take their place back at the top of Serie A...
After watching his Juventus side concede a late equaliser and relinquish the chance to move above Sampdoria at the top of the standings, Ciro Ferrara took the blame for some tactical decisions that may have influenced the outcome of the game.
“We were rather amateur in the manner in which we gifted space to the opposition,” Ferrara declared to Rai.
“I introduced certain players that had been out of action recently. It might have been a mistake to try and re-integrate them all together.
“We must try and move the ball around better when we are in possession. The team also needs to be less frenetic at times and I take full responsibility for the outcome this afternoon.”
Juventus currently sit just one point off surprise leaders Sampdoria but will be ruing the missed chance to stretch away from Inter who suffered a 1-0 defeat on Saturday evening.
