We Can Only Blame Ourselves - Juventus Defender Legrottaglie
Juventus defender Nicola Legrottaglie talked about today's draw against Bologna.
After the 1-1 draw at home against Bologna, Juventus defender Nicola Legrottaglie was left extremely frustrated that his side gave away two points right at the death.
"Something happened which shouldn't have happened," he said to Sky. "we lost concentration, and lost a stupid ball. In Serie A it's like that, they don't forgive you, in Serie B or elsewhere perhaps they make mistakes in front of goal, in Serie A there are strong footballers and every ball you lose is a goal.
"Today we can only blame ourselves, we held on well also in the second half, we lost two points in a stupid way.
"The problem was that today we suffered more than usual after opening the score. In the second half we controlled the match well, playing well, but at the last minute we made this mistake which cost us two points. Now let's think about the Champions League match on Wednesday."
On the return of Diego from injury, the defender said: "He was out for two weeks, it's comprehensible. Now we all wait for everyone to recover our best form, then we'll all restart together, with a united group, and continue. We must not be discouraged for a negative result.
"A great team is one which when it makes a misstep, immediately recovers and we have to show this on Wednesday in Munich and Sunday in Palermo."
