Inter goalkeeper Julio Cesar expressed his disappointment for the 1-0 defeat suffered against Sampdoria on Saturday night at the Luigi Ferraris stadium in the sixth matchday of the Italian top flight.
According to the Nerazzurri's shot-stopper, a draw would have been the right result after what he saw on the pitch.
"I only watched the game, but despite all this, I'm disappointed because we did not win," commented the Brazilian goalkeeper to Inter Channel.
"A draw would have been fairer, but I compliment Sampdoria. I think that [Giampaolo] Pazzini actually hit the ball in a bad way, because it wasn't a clean shot.
"I don't think that Inter played badly, we managed the ball well and, I repeat, I think that the draw was the fairest result. Now we move forward and look at the next game."
The next Serie A match will be against Udinese on Saturday at San Siro as the Nerazzurri hope to get back on the winning track following this setback.
