Inter striker Samuel Eto'o suffered his first Serie A defeat on Saturday night as his team was beaten 1-0 by Sampdoria in the sixth matchday of the Italian top flight.
However, Eto'o did not sound too worried about the defeat as overall the squad did well and more wins will come in the upcoming games.
"This is the reality of football," explained the former Barcelona player to inter.it. "It can happen that you play games like this one and not win any points, but I'm satisfied with the work of the group."
According to many, Eto'o played a bit further away from goal against the Blucerchiati, but the attacker does not agree.
"I don't think so," he continued. "However, even if it was so, I'm playing in a new tactical setup, the diamond shaped 4-4-2.
"I take advantage of the freedom which [Jose] Mourinho allows me and I find myself well in that position. Everyone can give their opinion, but I have nothing negative to say."
Two difficult games await Inter next week as on Tuesday they visit Rubin Kazan in the second matchday of the Champions League, whereas on Saturday they host Udinese in Serie A.
