Sampdoria striker Giampaolo Pazzini wants his team to bounce back from last night's performance against Fiorentina.
After four consecutive victories to open the season, Sampdoria were brought back to earth in last night's match against Fiorentina, which they lost 2-0 at the Stadio Artemio Franchi. However, on Saturday they'll have a chance to get revenge as they welcome league leaders Inter.
Striker Giampaolo Pazzini talked about this match and the team's start to the season.
"We started very well, playing some great matches, yesterday unfortunately we didn't play as well as we did in our first four games," he said to Sky Sport 24. "We could have and should have done more."
On the match against Inter, "They are one of the strongest teams in Europe, we know about their potential. However, we're playing at home, we want to have revenge and play a great game, that's for sure."
Like coach Luigi Del Neri, Pazzini doesn't want to talk about objectives, "We don't want to set any objectives, just see what we can do each Sunday. Then we'll see, by February or March, where we are."
On the Nerazzurri, he added, "Inter scare us? Fear shouldn't be a factor, it's clear they are a great team, and it's stimulating because it's a big game. We're playing at home, in front of our fans and we want to do well."
