Milan Defender Massimo Oddo Positive After Bologna Win
The right-back believes yesterday’s hard-fought victory is a good omen for the rest of the campaign...
A fine solo effort by Dutch midfielder Clarence Seedorf 15 minutes from time finally broke down the resistance of the stubborn Felsinei and Oddo is now confident the only way is up for the Rossoneri.
“Seedorf really helped out the team out there,” the ex-Bayern Munich man told the club’s official website.
“His work is important to keep possession. There are so many quality individuals in this team, but that’s not always enough. We have a good team and the positive thing is that we wouldn’t have won a game like this last term.”
Ronaldinho was left out of the squad by Leonardo and sources in Spain are suggesting he is considering quitting football.
“It’s strange that certain whispers about Ronaldinho come from Spain, given that he now plays in Italy,” mused Oddo.
“He is feeling well, although he is not going through a very happy period as his performances are not up to his best level.”
