Former Milan coach Arrigo Sacchi has taken a swipe at Juventus and his former employers following the Champions League fixtures this week.

Sacchi was harsh in his criticism of the Old Lady and the Rossoneri, despite the Milanese giants being the only Italian team to win in the competition.

"I expected much more, but I am not surprised. There is nothing new. Only Inter can be forgiven as they are a newly formed team who played a high quality opponent [Barcelona]," Sacchi told Violanews.com.

"Even when we spend more than our European rivals in the transfer market, we fail to change mentality - we think that the results can cover everything up."

The Italian then claimed that coaches like Ciro Ferrara of Juve and Milan's Leonardo are not quite ready.

"There is too much impatience in Italy and it doesn't allow us to turn a page and build something big. We need coaches who are good teachers of football, not just former players," concluded Sacchi.
