David Trezeguet To Start For Juventus Against Livorno

The hitman has jumped a place in Ciro Ferrara's pecking order...

David Trezeguet will no longer be wearing the famous Bianconeri colours after announcing his decision to leave the club
Juventus striker David Trezeguet could make it two Serie A starts in a row for his side when Livorno come to town on Saturday night.

According to Tuttosport, the Frenchman's performance against Lazio, against whom he scored to seal a 2-0 win, will be rewarded this weekend as he is likely to be Ciro Ferrara's first choice against the Amaranto.

Early concerns at the start of the season have evaporated. 'Trezegol' has been training hard all week at Vinovo, and with Amauri disappointing so far this season, Ferrara is likely to give the Frenchman the nod and the wink.

Amauri has not scored in any of Juve's five matches thus far. He was less than perfect against Bordeaux in the Champions League, and he seems destined to watch this one from the bench.

Vincenzo Iaquinta is in line to start alongside 'Trez', as Alessandro Del Piero is still struggling with a muscular problem.
