Genoa’s Criscito & Bocchetti Deserve To Play For Italy – Coach Gasperini
The Grifoni boss has talked up two of his stars, and their chances of making it to the World Cup.
Genoa have had yet another promising start to a Serie A season, as they have recorded the maximum six points from the opening two matches, following victories over Roma and Atalanta respectively.
They are an extremely talented club, with an experienced coach in place in Gian Piero Gasperini. The tactician recently hailed two of his stars, in the lead up to the 2010 World Cup.
“For me, [Salvatore] Bocchetti and [Domenico] Criscito should both be playing for Italy,” Gasperini stressed to Radio Kiss Kiss.
“If they continue to improve at the rate they are currently growing at, then they deserve to go to the World Cup next year.
“[Raffaele] Palladino is another, who if he overcomes his physical problems, could be a big surprise.”
The Rossoblu are set to play host to Napoli at the Luigi Ferraris stadium this weekend.
