Lazio Captain Tommaso Rocchi Doubftul For Juventus Clash
Lazio striker Tommaso Rocchi has admitted that he may miss Saturday's match against Juventus due to an injury...
After Lazio striker Mauro Zarate expressed uncertainty over his availability for this weekend's clash against Juventus, captain Tommaso Rocchi has admitted he is a doubt for the match as well.
The prolific striker will most probably miss the highly anticipated encounter, as he explained to journalists on his exit from the Paideia clinic today.
"Unfortunately there is an injury, now I will undergo therapy and evaluate the results after 24-48 hours," he said. "We'll see on Saturday, I did get a knock, now we'll see what the exams say. I can't say for sure what my situation is, I'm not qualified.
"Let's just say I am in doubt for the match. For the moment I will be cured, and today I will only do therapy."
Lazio have started the season well, with Rocchi already scoring twice, so the striker is disappointed to get injured at such a crucial time.
"I'm not pessimistic, I'm just sad I've gotten injured at the wrong moment," he concluded.
