I Can Still Lend A Hand To AC Milan - Massimo Oddo
The 33-year-old admits he is "not a phenomenon"...
At one point, coach Leonardo urged the player to consider any offers to move elsewhere, as he is a clear second-choice behind compatriot Gianluca Zambrotta at right-back.
"Self-confidence is always important because it helps in difficult times. I'm definitely not a phenomenon, nor am I a player to be thrown away. I think I'm a player who can lend a hand to this team," he explained to Milan Channel.
"I know perfectly well that words matter little and, I repeat, that I must do my best on the field."
The former Italian international joined Milan in January 2007, contributing to their Champions League winning campaign, but has been deemed surplus to requirements since, even spending last season on-loan at Bayern Munich.
