Santon Reveals He Is Considering Cannavaro’s Advice About Leaving Inter

The young Italian could leave the Nerazzurri to better his chances of making it to the World Cup.

An ongoing debate between Fabio Cannavaro, Jose Mourinho and Davide Santon is nearing its end, with the latter of the trio having the final say on the issue.

“I obviously do want to play at the world cup for Italy,” Santon declared to Sky Sport24.

This comment has come in direct response to those made by his national team captain in Cannavaro, who suggested that the starlet should consider his options, as his playing time may be restricted with Inter this season.

He continued, “I haven’t spoken to Mourinho about this yet, but again, I really would like to make Italy’s world cup squad.

“The advice of Cannavaro? In January, I will consider an experience elsewhere, if it means that I will secure my place at the world cup.”

After immediately responding to Cannavaro’s comments earlier in the week, Mourinho is certain to provide a prompt response to his young defender’s recent claims.
