Juventus Goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon: The Totti Save Was Important
The Bianconeri defeated Roma 3-1 at the Olimpico stadium, with Buffon making a brilliant save on Totti when the score was still 1-1.
Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon praised his new team-mate Diego for the incredible things he can do on the pitch.
However, Buffon commented that the Brazilian player should continue training harder to improve even further in the future.
"Diego does things that only a few players can do, but we don't launch any challenge to anyone," declared the Italian international goalkeeper to sportal.it. "He must improve day by day.
"Roma? They put their heart into the match, but with such a reduced squad, they suffered when playing their fourth game in 10 days."
Apart from praising Diego, Buffon also hailed the save he made on Francesco Totti.
"I made an important save on [Francesco] Totti," he concluded.
