Vincenzo Iaquinta has been in fine form for Juventus over the last six months, but insists he is not the star of the high-profile Turin based squad.

"I'm not [the man of the moment], but I'm not a hero by accident either as someone said," he told Il Messaggero.

"I have always shown my worth on the field and will continue to do it."

The player will come up against his former coach Luciano Spalletti, when the Roma host the Bianconeri this afternoon.

"With him I have a special relationship, in Udine he was my coach for three years. He taught me so much to help me arrive at this point, I must thank him," Iaquinta affirmed.

Meanwhile, when asked who he wished would be missing the match for the opposition, he gave the answer of their talisman Francesco Totti.

"Surely Totti. Francesco is a champion. He scores and creates goals. He is a leader," he concluded.

Iaquinta has been included in the latest set of call-ups by national team boss Marcello Lippi for the World Cup qualifying matches against Georgia and Bulgaria.
