The Viola are considering a swap deal with the Biancocelesti for one of the two remaining 'rebels'...With only days left until the transfer window shuts, striker Goran Pandev is still looking for an exit from Lazio and could find it via Fiorentina.
Despite publicly falling out with president Claudio Lotito, the Macedonian has been unable to find a new club and almost seems resigned to seeing out the last year of his contract before leaving on a free transfer next summer.
However, the Viola have now entered the equation with an enticing proposal for the Aquilotti. According to La Nazione, the Viola are willing to use unhappy midfielder Zdravko Kuzmanovic as a make-weight in a deal for Pandev.
Kuzmanovic, valued at around €8 million, would significantly reduce the outlay required to purchase the €10m-rated 26-year-old. The Biancocelesti are also keen on the deal as they want to strengthen their central midfield options.
There are other possibilities for the Serbian international, however, as Sevilla are also interested in acquiring his services. The Spanish side made a €8m bid earlier in the summer, which was turned down by the Viola.
Kuzmanovic's situation at the Artemio Franchi has now changed, and should los Rojiblancos return with a similar bid, the 21-year-old could soon be plying his trade in Spain.
