Juventus midfielder Sergio Almiron could end up plying his trade with newly promoted Bari, according to his agent, Claudio Vagheggi.
The Argentine has failed to settle in Turin since joining the club in 2007 from Empoli. He has spent time at Monaco, and was on loan at Fiorentina last year, before returning to Vinovo.
He is now facing another exit, and the Galletti are on the horizon.
"The signature with Bari is not close, despite a number of reports," the agent told Tuttomercatoweb.com.
"We will meet with the Bari directors this week and then we will see what happens. There are many teams that are interested in him.
"It's important for us to find a team where Sergio will play regularly."
Reports in Turin suggested the midfielder would be staying due to the Old Lady selling Cristiano Zanetti to Fiorentina, but it appears as if he will leave after all.
