thumbnail Hello,

The Bianconeri midfielder is expected to leave Turin in the coming weeks...

The newly promoted Bari have expressed interest in JuventusSergio Almiron, who recently returned to the club following a season on loan at Fiorentina.

The Pugliese are keen to add some depth and experience to their squad prior to the new campaign, so they are eager to strike a deal with the Bianconeri for the Argentine’s services.

“I know that the club are interested in having Sergio as a Pugliese player, but I cannot say anything until the Matarrese family decide to make a move,” Almiron’s agent explained to Tuttomercatoweb.

“I personally can say that I have not been in contact with Bari for the sale of Almiron. So for the moment, even in light of these rumours, he will be a Juventus player for the next three years.

“This deal should start with a loan move though, as it would be beneficial for everyone involved.”

Bari kick off their 2009-10 season with the toughest of trips, as they will face the reigning champions Inter at the San Siro stadium.
