Diego strikes for Juventus against Seongnam in the 2009 Peace Cup
Juventus have been dealt a blow ahead of their Peace Cup semi-final showdown with Real Madrid as Diego pulls out with a muscular problem.

The club have confirmed the news via a statement on their official website:

"Diego signalled a problem to his right leg at the end of the final training session this morning.

"After the first examination, it's nothing serious, but he will not play during tonight's fixture against Real Madrid following a decision from the club's medical and technical staff.

"Diego will now be rested for the next 48 hours and his conditions will be evaluated after."

It's not the news the Old Lady wanted to hear. Diego was outstanding during his debut against Seongnam on Tuesday and he marked it with a goal.
