Alberto Gilardino Claims Fiorentina Lack Fitness After PSG Defeat
The Italian international hopes his team will improve dramatically over the next couple of weeks...
"There is not much to comment about on the game tonight, it was a friendly match and we must be ready for the preliminary round of the Champions League," began a disappointed Alberto Gilardino, speaking to Firenzeviola.
"On my part, it was important to play, since I only returned from vacation recently."
However, the former Parma star was hopeful his side would turn it around in time for their more important matches.
"We are working on our conditioning, what we have done so far is a curtain call and we are continuing to train. Tonight was not the true Fiorentina," he concluded.
